Summary
Demon Slayer Chapter 69 focuses on the backstory of Akaza, one of the Twelve Kizuki and a powerful demon. The chapter reveals his past as a human and his transformation into a demon under Muzan’s influence.

The story begins with Akaza as a young boy named Hakuji, who lives in the mountains and learns the art of martial arts from his master. Hakuji has a strong sense of justice and desires to use his skills to protect others.

One day, while traveling with his master, they come across a demon who has killed several people in a nearby village. Hakuji’s master urges him to run away, but Hakuji insists on fighting the demon to protect the innocent.

Despite his best efforts, Hakuji is no match for the demon, who kills his master and mortally wounds Hakuji. As he lies dying, Muzan appears and offers him the chance to become a demon and gain the strength to avenge his master’s death.

In his desperation, Hakuji accepts Muzan’s offer and becomes Akaza, one of the Twelve Kizuki. The chapter ends with Akaza reflecting on his past and questioning whether he made the right choice.

Demon Slayer Chapter 69 provides important context and insight into the motivations of one of the series’ primary antagonists. The art and storytelling are both strong, with the flashbacks effectively conveying the tragedy and desperation that led to Akaza’s transformation. The chapter also sets up an interesting conflict between Akaza’s past as a human and his present as a demon, leaving readers curious about what will happen next. Overall, Demon Slayer Chapter 69 is a compelling addition to the series and a must-read for fans of the series.
