Summary
In chapter 4 of “Demon Slayer” manga, Tanjiro arrives at the Demon Slayer Corps headquarters and meets with the leader, Ubuyashiki. He explains his situation with Nezuko and his desire to find a cure for her condition.
Ubuyashiki tells Tanjiro that there is no known cure for demon transformation, but he offers to allow Nezuko to stay with him and his family while they investigate possible solutions. Tanjiro agrees and is relieved that Nezuko will be safe.
Tanjiro also meets with other demon slayers in training, including a boy named Zenitsu who is afraid of everything and a boisterous girl named Inosuke who wears a boar’s head as a mask. The three are assigned to work together on their next mission, which involves investigating disappearances in a nearby mountain.
As they make their way up the mountain, they encounter a powerful demon who has been abducting young girls. Inosuke charges forward to fight the demon, but he is quickly overpowered. Tanjiro and Zenitsu step in to help, and together they manage to defeat the demon.
Chapter 4 introduces new characters and sets up the next mission for Tanjiro and his companions. It also highlights the dangers of being a demon slayer and shows how powerful demons can be. The chapter ends with the trio preparing to continue their journey as demon slayers.
